Privacy Rights (GDPR)

How to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure or restriction when the legal conditions are met, and a portable copy when the processing qualifies. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing at any time.

Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal. You also have protections against decisions made solely by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects. Some rights have conditions and exceptions, for example where we must keep a record by law.

Making a request

Email games@witsteen.com. Tell us which right you want to use and give enough detail for us to find the information. If your request concerns the game, name the platform and account with the minimum detail needed. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers, and please do not make private requests in public social media comments.

We may ask for reasonable information to confirm your identity where needed.

To stop email updates, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to games@witsteen.com.

Our response

We answer without undue delay and in any case within one month. If a request is complex or we receive many, we may extend this by up to two further months; we will tell you within the first month and explain why. Requests are free, except in the limited cases the law allows.

Complaints

You may complain to a data protection authority, such as the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données) or the authority in the EU country where you live, work or where the issue happened. Contacting us first does not remove that right.

Website and game data

This website does not store anything in your browser, so there is no website data on your device to delete. Game accounts will have their own deletion and export process, set out in the game's privacy notice before accounts open.
